Scan Test Tube Bar Code

Now that you have confirmed the identity of the patient, and confirmed that they are at the correct location at the correct time, scan the bar code on the test tube that will hold their sample.

Step 1 - Register Test Kit

Position the scan window over the barcode on the test tube to scan, as shown:

The Bar Code MUST already be affixed to a test tube prior to scanning.

If the barcode does not scan, click in the space below the scan screen to manually enter the bar code number as shown below, then click SUBMIT

Step 2 - Confirm Registration of the Test Kit

Once the test tube has been scanned, and the letters and numbers that appear on screen match the bar code as shown above, click CONFIRM.

Step 3 - Complete!

The app will process the information, and present you with a confirmation screen.
